JJ's Pawn Shop in Beaumont, TX

Very knowledge staff. Answered all my questions to my satisfaction. They helped out my wife with her questions and concerns with firearms. Both me and my wife took their concealed carry class for our license and the instructors were very knowledgeable and we'll trained.

Horrible service!!! They would not buy my gun because I did not purchase it from them originally... Which blows my mind. So basically they only buy stuff they have sold previously. Treated me like I was stupid. Saying "I have plenty of guns why would I buy one that you did not buy from me". The whole thing was a waste of time!! I will never go back. I decided to try the pawn shop right down the road (Meyer's Jewelry and loan) and they treated me with respect and gave me a great offer on my gun which I accepted of course. I say go to Meyer's if you need to sell anything!!!

Went in to look at an Aimpoint red dot sight. Their asking price was well over what I could buy it for online. Plus online is tax free. How they stay in business is a mystery to me. A buddy of mine bought a box of 45 LC ammo recently and paid way over the price for this brand online. Complete rip-off. I would like to buy local, but the prices are just too high and the service is severely lacking. My last 6 gun purchases were online. It's a shame to have such poor service in a local store in a city the size of Beaumont. Avoid this place like the plague.

The owner is such a jerk! I changed my mind about buying one of his FN 5.7 pistols to a less expensive Springfield XDM and he flipped out. And then he treats my friends and co-workers the same way at his gun range(Southeast Texas Sportsmens Gun Club)......plus their very overpriced

1st and last time goin in here. Staff was great and helpful but the owner was a prick.
