I had very bad experience with JP Mortgage.They are very unprofessional,rude ,incompetent-Tiffany the secretary is extremely rude.The whole time i was discovering their mistakes-like the rate they gave me first was 4.87(locked rate),then they tried to trick me with 5.25 on the Good Faith Estimate-when i told them they said it was a technical mistake.But no sorry or anything.Then the day of the closing 1 hour! before closing -the president Chris called me and told me"We have a problem!'Another technical mistake-that they did,which cost me to put another $2000 at the closing.They had 3 weeks to review all the docs and nobody found that mistake.Chris was very rude the whole time i was at their office-saying that if i didn't close that day and gave the extra 2000, he wouldn't give me the same rate anymore. He didn't want to admit their mistake the whole time. I didn't hear an apology or anything from none of them-I am very dissapointed. People-do not waste your time or nerves with this company.Go anywhere else ,but JP Mortgage.

I contacted JP Mortgage earlier this year and the owner talked directly to me. I had a few offers from Lending Tree which were great, but I wanted to try to keep my business local. The owner, Chris Penders, was a fast-talker and had me convinced to go with them. To make a long story short, I had an offer of 5.5% from a company through Lending Tree that I passed on because Chris said he could match it. He didn't get me locked and the next day the offer though Lending Tree was 5.625. I went back to that company because JP Mortgage was costing me money as I waited. Chris got angry that I "backed out" of our "deal" and berated with a couple all-caps emails where he told me what a bad person I was and so forth. They're not a good company.
