My friend bought a car Here and they tried to screw him over on the paperwork, would not recommend this shady dealer

Car was advertised on Craigslist at one price and when I called to see if car was still available they had raised the price citing additional repair costs. Went down anyway and test drove the vehicle. I had cash in hand and tried to purchase on the spot on Friday afternoon. They said it had to be put on the dyno to pass a smog check and they didn't have the title on hand. The salesman "Will" said as soon as it came off the dyno they would call me and I would have first opportunity to come buy it. No call back on Saturday. I tried to call on Sunday and they were closed. When I called back on Monday , they sold the car and "Mike" the dealer manager when asked if they honored their salesmans commitments simply said no. Typical shady used car salesmanship. Take ur business someplace else and don't buy from this dishonorable business

While I do have an awesome car that I got for a very good price, I've had some experiences with this establishment that bother me. The car that I got was unable to pass emissions right off the bat. They had reset the check engine light, slapped a pricetag on it, listed it, and put it in the lot. Luckily for me, the issue is only an o2 sensor. When I asked them if they would put the sensor in if I bought them, their answer was yes. They told me yes to this request several times. Four times to be exact. Their MECHANICS flat out **REFUSED** when I had made the purchases for the o2 sensors (over $250), stating that "they could get it to pass without having to replace these parts." Basically telling me that they're cheating the system. Because my car couldn't pass emissions, they had to issue me another month-long temporary tag, which they did with no hesitation. However, when they wrote out the new temp tag, they put the exact same numbers on it, which meant that those tags expired THAT VERY SAME DAY. When I pointed this out to them, they said they'd go fix it and get a new one for me. They didn't. They simply put a 2 over the 1 which, if a police officer were to get behind me and look at this temp tag, I'd be pulled over and asked what the hell is going on. Temp tags are LEGAL DOCUMENTS. Now, let's say that I explain to this hypothetical officer what is going on and he doesn't believe me and is convinced that I falsefied the expiration date on said tag. What kind of charge is it when you get caught with a "falsified" legal document? Pretty sure it's a felony. This establishment has put that risk on me and since I work late nights, there's no chance at making a phone call to clarify and having someone on the other end to pick up. Needless to say, once this car's paid off, I'll be glad to be done with them. Until then, I hope they can right their wrongs with me and redeem themselves before I contact the Better Business Bureau. I sincerely hope that this is an isolated incident and that they're not doing this to all of their customers.

UPDATE: I received a call today (2/24/17) that my title was received and would be sent overnight. Like the other buyer, I believe AutoCash turned off an existing check engine light. I didn't drive more than 50 miles and the light came on indicating a VTCS valve was stuck open. To fix it was $300, but I chose to have both fixed as long as I was there. I also had to fix the right front axle, which is still not exactly right. In addition to the body work I knew the car needed. I didn't think to ask them to help with repairs because they made it clear they do nothing to the cars (except turn off check engine lights apparently); they just flip them. It wasn't til I read the previous review, I bought the car a week and a half ago, and still do not have the title; and, they do not have it yet either!. I'm used to getting a title application or something to that effect upon purchase. Hope I'm not setting myself up for something bad if I'm pulled over. Therefore, buyer beware. I suggest you take a LONG test drive to see if any engine lights come on and take the vehicle to a qualified mechanic for a thorough look before you put your money down.
