Very friendly staff. Most pawn shop employees are rude and ignore you, and when they do acknowledge you they act as if they're inconvenienced to help you. THAT IS NOT the case at Shylock's Pawn. While waiting for a firearms background check, they were more than accommodating, very pleasant and very apologetic for the check taking longer than expected. The firearms selection is awesome. New and used firearms are not overpriced, well taken care of and in good working order, and very reliable. I have purchased 3 firearms from Shylocks (1 new and 2 used) and I haven't had the first problem out of any of them. I recommend Shylock's Pawn to anyone who is looking for quality service and quality new and used products.

Went in there for tools most of them were broke and almost all over priced anything that looks like a retail condition they charge retail or more. Even after haggling barely got a decent price for a tool set that had two broken ratchets. Called within 10 hours and they still wouldn't exchange it

Half of the shop is loaded with arms and ammunition, the other half is used tools & entertainment you might be able to haggle if you know a bit more about something they are selling. This thing should be this price because, its missing a nut or something and it can't be fixed easily. *hint, hint* Some of the items on display are better priced than others. And depending on your purchase, they may offer a short guarantee time as long as you have a receipt. I enjoyed their video game cabinet and saved myself $50 here then going to eBay or Amazon on a couple rare titles. I haven't the need to pawn anything yet, so I cannot review that service. The staff are not the brightest box of bulbs, but very friendly to regulars and new smiling faces :-D Even though they remodeled recently, the interior is still kind of chaotic because of the cramped space.

Never Never buy a gun from here!!! Our boy's went after Christmas with their Christmas money and bought a defective gun that almost blew my son's side of his face off! They purchased a 12 gauge shot Gunther she'll blew out the breech!! Our oldest son took the gun to a gun smith who put he's name on it that they purchased a defective gun!! The owner refused their money back and yelled at our kids and called them scam artist when all they wanted was their cash for a defective gun!! Do not buy anything from this store if you do you will be sorry!!! Spread the word about these crook's!!!
