This is the most fraudulent collection agency of all time. An unknown & undocumented medical expense showed up on my credit report supposedly due to North American Credit Services. As I have several thousand dollars in an HSA account & no reason to let a $200 bill ruin my credit, I just paid it to be done with it. Several months later, the "collections" still had not cleared from my credit report. I confirmed with my HSA company that the payment had, in fact, been sent per the instructions on my credit report prior to calling NACS directly. The first person I spoke with could find no record of an account under my name, date of birth, or social security number. I agreed that I owed them nothing, but had still made a payment to clear my credit report & asked that they do that SINCE THEY JUST CONFIRMED I NEVER OWED THEM ANYTHING. She refused; said it is impossible to clear the account if they can't find the account (even though she could not explain how they were able to put it ON my credit report if they can't take it OFF). I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was connected to voicemail, which was not returned. I called again and immediately asked to speak to a supervisor. Was connected to "Debbie" who claims she is a supervisor. She also stated she could not find any record of any account ever having been connected to me through any identifying means (even the account numbers THEY listed on MY credit report) & told me I would have to fax her proof that 1) they had charges on my credit report and 2) that I had paid them. At no point did they offer to provide any documentation that I had incurred this debt, even though I asked multiple times for such. I'd already printed these documents, so no big deal except - I restated the fax number she provided before ending that second call only to discover when I attempted to fax that SHE HAD GIVEN ME A BAD FAX NUMBER. So, I had no choice but to call a third time. When I did so, Debbie answered the phone, "Is this Ms. Davis?! You've called three times today!" As I went to explain WHY I had to call three times, she said, "Well, I found your account." Then a long spiel about how the original creditor (Mercy Health Systems, I do NOT go to Mercy EVER) had removed the collections (yeah, because it had never been my bill, ever heard of medical billing errors? those people are paid like $10/hr if they are lucky, there are frequent screw ups), so the collection account had been closed but NACS just never cleared it from my credit report. Debbie then accused ME of being rude for calling three times & hung up on me. If the FRAUDULENT collection charges are not cleared from my credit report by close of business today, I will be pressing charges against the company and Debbie personally.

I got a random $54 service fee charged too my account over two years ago. This may have been fine, if I had ever even gone to the doctors in the first place. Yet too boot, they never answer their phones, and when trying get a direct connect to someone, that person is magically never there. F*** this place.

These people are the worst!! They are not willing to help you at all. The first time I called a rep asked me for my full ss# I gave it to her and then she disconnected the call. I called back and this other rep gave me an email that does not exist for me to dispute wrong information on my credit report .. now I'm worried.. !!

Professional and friendly. Pam is the best! Let's face it, collection agencies are not known for being nice, fun, or pleasant to deal with. This place surprised me. I called them, I knew I owed the debt, and I was helped through the process without ridicule, intimidation, or pressure of any kind. GREAT EXPERIENCE! THANK YOU!
