Citizens Bank in Carthage, TN

My problem's with the way I was objectified by Citizens Bank: To get basic information out of these people is like pulling teeth. They will rarely follow up on basic information request. Incapable of discerning specific information that was provided weeks ahead of time. They do not follow a professional behavior model when dealing with sensitive client documents. Overall disorganized attitude. Start to finish they wasted two months of my time, stalling on information that another bank had verified and helped me with in less than 48 hours.

Worst banking experience of my life. I previously banked with Chase and must have been spoiled by their customer service. Moved to Carthage and decided to open a local account. I stood at the counter for at least 15 minutes before asking if I could sit down. Once seated i waited another 10 munutes. Then the teller asks me for $100 to open the account. I dont even have $100. I gave them my first paycheck as proof of residency and it was only for $88. I told the lady she should have told me that upfront and should not have wasted all my time. I asked her for my information back and left the bank. I got a phone call about 10 minutes later. What I assumed would be someone calling to apologize for the situation. Instead they were asking for the paperwork back. They were rude and insisted they needed a signature card back. I told them i was going to work and had no more time to waste. The woman on the phone said someone would show up to my job to get it. Are you serious? At this point this is harrassment. If you are interested in any level of customer service I definitely dont recommend this bank.

Most obliging folks I have ever done business with. Very quick to respond to questions and inquiries, as well as offering competent advise. I'll never do banking with anyone else!
