Dodge's in Johns Island, SC

Food quality is good. The cashiers , as usual were distracted by outerspace or something. Seemed like too much of a task for them to speak or tell me how much my order was . Poor quality of employees at 7:25 am on Saturday June 2013.

I only go here because gas is cheap. Chicken is not good, not even close. I can't say they have been rude but they are not super polite either. My family had a problem with vandalism..twice. Both times it was related to our political bumper stickers. Two different people saw our bumper stickers and vandalized our cars. We saw it on the video. They noticed the bumper sticker and then walked around the vehicles and looked for damage to do. This happened four years apart. Once during the 2008 campaign and once during the 2012 campaign, two different vehicles. We did not have any bumper stickers that slammed anyone, just who we were voting for. I think negative bumper stickers of any sort are just plain wrong. Both times the clerk knew who the vandal was but refused to identify them. We should have gone to the police with it the second time. I do think these folks are hard working and just want to do their jobs. Sometimes there is a line inside but they open up another register if it gets too long. The vandals were not employees of Dodge's.

Phenomenal chicken and jojos, like life-changing delicious (the life changing being that you'll go eat this chicken every day and die early of deliciously clogged arteries). Unenthused and disorganized service.

We try to stop here every time we come to Charleston. Gas is usually cheaper. Great chicken and other fried food. Service is unpredictable but Dodges has good memories for my husband. So we have continued the tradition. It is a common stop for others from our town.

Customer service is great.
