Merchants Credit Association Inc in Anderson, SC

These people are reprehensible. I have never dealt with such rude, backwoods people in all my life. They are belligerent, combative, and do nothing but belittle and intimidate. They seem to derive pleasure, not in collecting a debt, but in dehumanizing individuals. I would advise any business thinking about contracting this company to collect a debt to do otherwise. These soulless degenerates would be better served taking courses in grammar and phone etiquette than calling themselves professional anything. All they do is attempt to escalate tempers and nerves without trying to solve the problem. I have been harassed by these people for over a month for a clerical oversight. It's not even a debt I owe, but I haven't been able to get a word in edgewise for all the hate speech and fear-mongering they're spewing at me. They are awful, awful people.

Today I was contacted again by a lady named Kay from this company Merchant's Credit. She began telling me that I owed thousands of dollars to our local hospital & I tried explaining to her that I had fallen on hardship & didn't know when/if I could make a payment. I also told her that given the amount I owed due to a life saving surgery, there was a possibility I would have to file for chapter 7 bankruptcy. (we're talking 30,000 dollars) The woman became outraged, and said "I was nothing more than a typical bit*h trying to manipulate the system & nobody gets a free ride in life." I told her I needed her supervisors name and #, & she hung up on me, without giving any info. I called the # back & a man picked up the phone claiming that he was a supervisor, but wouldn't provide his name nor his supervisor's information & also hung up. How RUDE & unprofessional can you get? Calling me a "BIT*H", Kay that really made me want to set up a payment. You & your coworker have nasty attitudes & need to take courses on dealing with the public. You sit behind a desk & think you can talk to people like we're trash. DO NOT CONTACT me by phone again due to your lack of vulgar speech, & inability to remain professional. Maybe you both should consider becoming a prison guard-then your crappy behavior would be just perfect. I am filing a complaint with The Better Business Bureau as well as Anmed Health whom you represent. After they hear my recordings, and phone records, they will see first hand Matthew, & Kay that you have an inability to talk to people in a respectable manner, that you cuss at whom you're speaking with, & yell. I would seriously be ashamed to have you as an employee. You guys may not have provided me a "real" supervisor's name & number, but I will get one & do everything in my power to expose you people for what you are...garbage

Very rude!!! Would not even talk about the situation with me and wouldn't let me even speak. She was a nasty woman. I always heard you catch more flies with honey and she is definitely vinegar.

With the rest of u, very rude, hung up on me, called back 3 times, 4 different people, who all hung up.

Ugh don't care how they talk to people so rude! Doesn't matter if it is your job to try to collect a debt being rude is ridiculous
