M&T Bank in Upper Darby, PA

Don't know what the deal is with this branch, very negative interactions most times I go there. I get scrutinized whenever I make a somewhat large withdrawal. I had to show them 3 ID's and even then they said "something wasn't right." I gave them my previous addresses, account number, social, everything and more. Finally they had someone from another branch who knew me speak to me on the phone to make sure it was me...hmmmmm. One of the other employees who watched this whole situation (which took over 40 minutes) spoke up and said "hey weren't you here last week making a deposit?." I nodded but still how could this young man of color withdrawal over $4000? This has happened more than once at that branch. I haven't had problems AT ALL at other branches of M&T and have been a proud member for years...I can honestly say that I have left that branch feeling insulted more times than not. My girlfriend went in there a month or so ago and went inside to make a deposit and the teller actually told her "You know you can make that deposit from the ATM." Yes she was snippy because SHE didn't feel like making the deposit and having to do work while no other customers were there...hmmm wonder why no one else was there. Another time she was making a deposit and had to use the bathroom and she was told "no since the bathroom is near the vault." OK Pal TD Bank has bathrooms for their customers to use wink wink. Summary: If you can go to the MTB branch up West Chester Pike a little bit, much nicer people, and easier to deal with OR switch to the TD bank down the street that has bathrooms that their customers can use and who knows might not treat their customers like a criminal because "something just isn't right." (wink wink too much pigment).

Chris is the worst bank manager i have ever dealt with, actually hes just a bad manager in general. Every time that i try to get something accomplished in this bank he will yes me to death and tell me everything is done and completed, but in reality nothing is done. I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone, especially business owners. Chris the manager is never in the branch, he doesn't return phone calls and he is down right lazy! I have been with m & t bank for 4 years now and i cannot wait to cancel my account!!! this is all due to the lack of effort and care asserted my Chris the bank Manager in drexel hill, hopefully they replace him soon with someone compitent of actually doing the job correctly!!
