I wanted to open a secondary business account at People First but my experience was absolutely horrendous. The representative, an elderly lady called Kathy was outright hostile and acted like I disturbed her some way by showing up. I had all the documentation with me but she didn't even look at them, she gave me list of the required documents (which I already had with me) and requested that I return another time. Needless to say that I definitely won’t return; there are plenty of financial institutions where they actually happy to welcome new members.

Been a member since 2008. Appears the customer service has degrade over time. Rarely call in to discuss account issues but when I do they do not seem to have patiences and want to get you quickly off the phone. I forgot her name but she is of India origin. She insinuate that you are not very bright and don't know how to read your details of your transactions. Also the mobile solution is terrible since it requires you to add an additional endorsement on your check or the deposit will not go through! The extra endorsement is not your signature. It is six letters indicating it is a mobile deposit. These extra instructions for endorsement is in fine letters that you don't see on the mobile app. Since you have to do these extra steps, this is not consider simple deposit process like other banks and is easily overlook, but of course they tell you that it is your fault that you didn't read the instructions. Good luck trying to get any fee wavier since it is always the customer's fault. I have many loans with PF but will be looking to migrate my banking somewhere else now.
