I'd use this place as your last resort. Every experience I've had (with the exception of one time) has been an annoyance and a headache. Let's start at the beginning- 1) their website advertised a free 'tank of gas' (gas card to wawa) when you open an auto loan with them. I never received this, despite calling twice within a 6 month period. 2) My bank was bought by BB&T, and I verified my new account number with SCU over the phone. I just checked my account, and I see I have a "invalid payment account" with a returned payment. 3) I had to call SCU to get a login to use the website to access my accounts. I'm trying to make a payment through the website, but it says 'my account does not qualify for this feature. I will never open another loan through them again, and will advise anyone I know to do the same.

SCU is conveniently located in town for us. They have always been professional, courteous and pleasant to us. Very helpful with providing info on refinancing my truck loan, which will save me thousands of dollars of money. I didnt even have to ask, they just suggested a more appropriate way to re-finance. Im very happy with all of their staff, including the "floater tellers". My other credit union missed automatic deductions to pay on my loans, even when I asked the lady to be sure that my loan was paid on time. It was missed and I was told that its my responsibility to be sure that the deductions are withdrawn. I have a feeling that it was a way to keep my finance charges on the higher side. I understand that its my responsibility, but when it was arranged to be deducted on a certain day, why wasnt it??? I asked them not to put my accounts online due to security issues I was having on my internet access. That was never done!! SCU made my life much easier, they respected my wishes and kept my account secure and offline; Very good job SCU!! Very professional and courteous! Family oriented; Thanku SCU!!! Suze
