My experience with Excel Mortgage was painful. After over a month of poor communication and excuses, I went with another broker. Thank goodness.

I am currently doing my fourth mortgage / refinance. The first one was with a loan officer provided by my realtor...What can I say, I was naive. It was a bad experience. Then I found Chris at Excel Mortgage, due to location (I worked in Paoli). The building is tucked away a bit, but you’ll be happy you found it. The guys there are honest, not pushy at all, work hard for you and treat you like a person...which is a breath of fresh air in the market. My current refinance is no exception, great rate, very responsive. Even though I'm not near Paoli anymore I still use Excel. Can't say enough good things. A Mortgage guy you can trust? Who would have thought…Definitely get 5 stars

Just completed my mortgage refinance with Excel. Chris and Mary did a great job. They were honest and accurate in their estimates. I doubt that you will find a better deal anywhere as their rates and fees are lower than anywhere else. Their communication was always excellent and fast.

We closed on a house in West Chester, PA and we are very happy with the way that Excel took us through the mortgage process. Chris Pappa and Mary Harrington are both knowledgable, professional, courteous, and responsive. I am a bit skeptical by nature so I did some homework on rates and fees from other lenders including the big online brokers. Chris was offering a great rate with comparably low fees and I took comfort in knowing that they were a local group that I could physically meet with as opposed to an anonymous online broker. Anyway, we were vey happy with our experience. Would certainly recommend.
