Just don't, thats I have to say. There are a lot of choices and this is not a good one. If you do choose them make sure you go through the small print on the extensive contract with a microscope because they know it by heart and will throw it in your face any chance they get to get your money. If thats how you have to make a buck I feel of you.

I am a new first time small business owner. I am writing this so that other businesses will be aware of the unscrupulous practice of United Merchants Processing Association (300 West Cherry St. Palmyra, PA) taking your money out of your bank account without any service being provided or having had any cost incurred to them! I was pressured into signing with them by their sales rep John Leone for credit card processing services for my clients. He never reviewed or disclosed any of the information on the many pages of small print on the forms. Three days later I advised them in writing that I did not want to do business with them. They never inquired as to why and without my knowledge they immediately took $1100 out of my bank account. When I spoke to Melissa in their office and explained there was no service given to me or expense incurred by her company she said I should have read what I was signing and would not give me my hard earned money back!!!! UMPA never provided a service or incurred any costs and will not return my $1100. I am putting this out there for all of the business owners who are searching for a professional and competitive merchant services company to stay clear of this unethical company! What has happened to customer service and integrity????

I have been burned by a few sales reps and processing conpanies now but decided to give them a try. The rep was local out of Chambersburg and seemed very honest and helpful. He not only saved me money but he also helped me get out of the mess I was in with 2 other companies. I will never leave UMPA. They are great!
