takes a lot to make a "local" bank to make you feel anonymous but Univest just doesn't try very hard and fails to capture the essence of a local bank while also having the shortcoming of not doing the things that larger banks have mastered much better, like technology. Their banking experience lags behind banks with much better online presence, absolutely no online tools to help manage money. Fees tend to be quite high (e.g. incoming wires $10, cashiers check $10,) Their ATMs are archaic, no scanned check deposits and their rules are applied with top down bureaucratic insouciance rather than customer service. (like holding large check deposits for 10 days for an account open 6 years with no issues ever) I would look elsewhere, you can do better. They should too.
