Neffs Bancorp Inc in Neffs, PA

This bank held my money hostage through no fault of mine! I have been dealing with them for 20 years, and today I went to make a purchase with my debit card only to have it declined even though there was plenty of funds available. When I called I was told that my card was shut off because I made a purchase at KMART 2 months ago and apparently i was told there was a possible breach of info, even though my card was not affected by it .So, merely because I bought a pair of jeans with my card at this store 2 month's prior to today, I could not use my money! I am told that I will receive a letter telling me this in a few days and I have to wait up to 2 weeks to get a replacement card in the mail. To begin with, I should have been notified by phone BEFORE my card was shut down, and I should not have to wait this long to get a new card! I have always liked this bank but I can see that they are becoming like all other banks and I suggest that anyone should stop putting up with this sort of nonsense from this and every other bank. Keep your money at home or start using a credit union and just maybe some of these banks will stop stealing (or holding your money hostage ) for no reason other than the fact that you let them. I believe that I will shut my accounts down for good.

Very friendly and honest, always willing to help with all my banking needs. I like that they smile when I come in and make me feel comfortable. Have been a customer of larger banks in the past. I will never go back. It is always the same familiar faces when I come in, not a lot of new people every other month. The personal service at Neffs National bank cannot be beat.
