The very worst experience I have ever had with a credit reporting company or any other company. Saying that they stink, is a compliment!

One of the worst corporations for credit bureaus, probably responsible for ruining many families inaccurate CR's. Solution : dissolve the company, rename it and move it out of Chester !! and of course fire the CEO !!

I put a fraud alert when I was told I was associated with the government employee identity issue, so I put a fraud alert via the phone with Trans Union. This was in 2015. Jan. 2016 through April 2016, Trans Union started charging my credit card account. I never gave them my CC #. This was done with a few questions via the phone and I never gave out my CC #; only the required SS # and my zip code all via the phone. I received a form letter stating what my member number was and that I could have benefits of the Credit Monitoring membership, but nothing about a receipt or a payment plan for any services. I recently did it again, as I didn't recall any significant letter [found it later], and it is the same thing. Question? When you become a member, don't you pay for it, well I did NOT sign up for anything when I requested just a Fraud Alert. When I noticed these charges I called immediately and was told; This is the ridiculous part, someone must be using my CC # for membership as they did not have an account on me. I was appalled that if they are a credit reporting company and there was a fraud alert, [the time not yet expired] then why was this the answer they were giving me. My credit card company was supplied all documentation to removed the disputed charges. At this point, I allege it is a scam. I loath talking to 'out of the country' employees, and up the ladder I went to reach a accelerated complaint, as each stated I didn't have an account with the information I was willing to give; name and address. Each and everyone asked for my credit card number; I refused. That is insanity to give anyone my CC number, so they can now say I gave it to them initially, and they had it on record that I wanted this service. Even when I said, "I would not give it out to them, and I demanded someone from the USA to call me, " this manager named "Vic," [as you know that is not his name] said, "Could you give me your CC #?" I was furious! He was not listening to a word I was saying; I thought, the guy must be texting someone... He told me that I would get a call from Trans Union in 24 hours. REALLY May 5 is when we spoke and May 20 is when someone rang my phone and that was all. They did not leave a voicemail, or an extension, and I could not call them back from the caller ID number, and I noted the miss call when I was at work too; and no one has called me since. That would be over 2 weeks, not 24 hours! I would not give this company any stars, but I am forced to, and I would be most aware to call them for a fraud alert.

I signed up for the 7 day trial over a year ago, and on the 3rd day, I called to have my subscription canceled & to make sure nothing would be billed to my account. I called every single month for A YEAR because they were STILL taking 18.00 out of my account EVERY MONTH for a service I didn't even use, nor did I have access to. Today, for the first time, I called someone and demanded they cancel my subscription or I would press legal charges. I received an immediate email stating my subscription end date. I DO NOT recommend at all!

Had to fight like crazy to get my credit fixed. Once they finally did it they removed a good line of credit I had from my file too so once again trashing my credit and completely admits no fault in the matter and refuses to fix it. Held hostage by businesses.
