Santander Bank in Conshohocken, PA

I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years at this bank. Recently I was the unlucky recipient of what they thought was a counterfeited $100 bill that I handed in for deposit into my savings account. I am a bartender at a local restaurant and the bill was part of my wages for the week. They took the bill and sent it to the federal reserve for further review, to be credited to my account if it is valid currency. I asked for procedures to follow going forward to protect myself and to give to my employer so that we can properly screen the cash accepted at the restaurant. Apparently the pen/marker test is invalid as there is now an infrared light test. I did not receive any guidelines to provide my employer to prevent this occurrence going forward. This was a very upsetting experience, I lost my wages, they took my license even though they obviously have all of my information from my 20 year old bank account, and refused to give materials to comfort the situation. They made me feel like a criminal instead of a victim. I'm left feeling like I'm some sort of red flag when all I did was try to deposit my wages. Proper instructions would mean so much after this sort of situation.
