Review Trailhead Credit Union

From the above posts it sounds to me like a couple of women need to take financial management classes, including balancing a checkbook, sad it isn't taught in high school anymore. 1st lesson, a Credit Union IS NOT A BANK and that's why I use a Credit Union and balance my checkbook EVERY MONTH. Maybe it's easier to just play the victim, but that never works for long. I've dealt with Jackie (34+ yrs) and Stuart, they walk on water as far as I am concerned. I've been with this credit union for almost 35 years. They have funded my personal and business projects all this time, and when times have been and are now tuff, saved my bacon. Always fair and certainly WAY beyond what ANY bank will do. Jackie can't ever retire, we need her too much. And when she does retire I hope I know to attend the party. She is a saint. Don't ever say these people don't care, that is simply inaccurate. Brent

I'm becoming a member again. After leaving Old Town (I lived in Old Town. Bad area) I went to Wells Fargo and then US Bank. In the last year, US Bank charged me hundreds of dollars in fees because THEY overdrew my account by paying bills I didn't authorize. GO CREDIT UNIONS. Banks are evil! SPOILER ALERT: They may have bad customer service, and they do, but they never took $250 from my account because I had NO MONEY in my account (no money fees get ya). I TRULY HATE BANKS!!!!! but not credit unions. They're non profit, maybe rude, but non profit and rude.

Have had a loan through them for a couple of years. Never had an issue and actually talked them up a lot to everyone I knew because I felt they were a great credit union that took care of their customers but that all changed when I was highly disrespected by an employee. The customer service I received was horrible and was treated so bad I cannot recommend this credit union to anyone anymore. They take money out of your account that shouldn't have been taken without proper authorization and then instead of fixing it when trying to talk to them they belittle you, don't let you talk and refusie to listen to anything your having to say. Highly dissapointed in the services I have received as of late and unless some changes are made and the employees actually treat there customers like they are supposed to I wouldn't do business here.

Definitely a good bank as far as banks go. The only thing is if you need to call when they open for some reason, either call later in the day or be prepared to wait at least 6 minutes on hold. A few times I've waited up to 17 minutes on hold. They give you the option of requesting a call back which is helpful, but they don't tell you an estimated time for the call, so if you work or are driving you may miss it. Those are my only complaints, otherwise friendly reps and good service.

Awful experience. I've been a member for over 17 years. Member services person couldn't get my name right or enter my account number properly. Then they expected me to come in and verify information. Idiots!! This all began because they failed to send an updated debit card for my husband! Aggravating!!
