Do be aware that if you bank with Oregonians credit union you should not write checks to anyone who will need to cash them at Oregonians credit union because they will be charged a $5 fee to cash YOUR check at YOUR credit union. That's right: Oregonians credit union charges a fee to cash a check drawn from their OWN institution. So I would also recommend not taking checks from members unless you are willing to deposit them in your account and take the liability for insufficient funds.

Ugh! I hate it when a CU is no good. This should be called a bank! If you are a member here great - I guess, I mean your CU sucks but you can use it & any other CU in the shared branching network. BUT if you are a member of another CU and want to do shared branching go elsewhere! Not all of the branches do shared branching & when they do they are rude & bumbling. It really ticks me off that they take advantage of the shared branching system.

I am from a different credit union in the co-op group and I had a good experience. The people were very friendly and explained everything. It must have undergone a change since one of the previous reviewers as it's was not even close to what they described.
