OnPoint Community Credit Union in Lake Oswego, OR

We've banked here for years, have always had great experiences, and have found the staff to be wonderful. I honestly have never had a bad experience here. Once, when the new ATMs that accepted cash were newly installed, I inserted cash in one to make a deposit (and to try out the new gadget!) and it ate my deposit. I was aghast! The only thing the ATM machine printed out was a message saying "Technical Error." I took the slip in to the bank, told them what has just happened, told them the amount of cash was so large the loss would cause a lot of hardship and they immediately credited my account for the full amount. They were awesome!! I was stunned! They have a customer for life in me...and my husband, and all our adult kids.

This is the best banking experience I ever had. Their members are very polite, knowledgeable, eager to help and go out of thier way to help. This is the first place as far as banks or credit unions that actually cares. I hope that Onpoint will never stray away and become like big corporate banks that only want your money. They see you as a dollar sign when you walk through their doors. I got my first car loan from them and when I'm going to buy a house i will definitely use them.

They hold my money nice and tight

Staff didnt care. Treated people like they were mediocre unless they had a perfect credit score. Not a good bank to deal with.

Received an erroneous email stating they didn't have my address and a card was returned. Tried 800 number to clear things up. Nothing but busy signal for over an hour. No "contact us" link on web site. Next email arrives: Sorry we sent one that was irrelevant "suggesting" we didn't have your address. No apology. No explanation. 800 number still busy.
