Clackamas Federal Credit Union in Canby, OR

i love how friendly all of the Employee's are, and they are always hasty to service you the best that they can. BUT. i had to knock off a single star. They will not allow you to purchase online goods from any foreign country in the world. as my job always requires this, i had to open another bank account to be able to make such purchases. after making a purchase, and trying it 2 times, it locked my card completely; and even refused to register in the ATM, only spitting out a ERR code 2009 (Your card has been reported stolen) the absolute worst part about all that, this happened to me 2 days before christmas. So i was completely unable to provide my family with a christmas at all, and couldn't even deposit checks into my account. this was so insanely dissapointing, and so frustrating. but i know it isn't The Canby locations fault. just be aware of where your purchases are originating and don't allow anyone to use your card to make foreign purchases, otherwise you will have to go into the location and have them contact CS to unlock it.

I just went through the stressful process of buying a car and I can't say enough how thankful I am I chose to get my loan through Clackamas Federal. It was hands down the best banking experience I have EVER had; Ashley Behrendt was my main point of contact through the entire process and she was exceptional. I have never bought private party before so I had an excess amount of questions and concerns that she always answered quickly and thoroughly. I absolutely felt like she had my back throughout the entire process and turned a stressful life event into something so easy and exciting. I thought I might have just lucked out but I called in with an urgent question when Ashley was not available and spoke with Alicia who was equally as helpful - I feel that they truly went above and beyond to help me out even though I don't have a history with their credit union. Not to mention I got an interest rate over 1% lower than the credit union I previously used for an auto loan offered me, I don't know how that works since I always made my payments on time but I'm not complaining. I highly recommend everyone check out Clackamas for their financial needs, I will definitely be going to them with any needs in the future!
