Seterus, Inc. in Beaverton, OR

The mortgage for my townhouse was sold to this horrible company and every year I have to jump through hoops to satisfy the insurance portion of the company that the townhouse is insured properly. Even after sending in the appropriate documents they continue to send harassing letters until I call and talk to a rep who then says that they have everything that they need and shouldn't be sending anymore letters. I HAVE TO DO THIS EVERY YEAR! Also when I send in escrow shortage payments clearly marked to pay the escrow account they always incorrectly apply it to the principle until I call add talk to a rep to correct my payment amounts. The phone reps are nice and professional but the inner workings of this company is garbage.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received in my 43 years on this planet!!! This company snatches up loans to service and then hangs its new clients out to dry. They will not release any information in a timely manner such as payoffs, etc. because they don't want you to get out of the loan. 7+ days to receive a payoff quote is ridiculous in 2017 and they only use fax machines??? I had the pleasure of spending 40+ minutes on the phone the other day and spoke to 2 reps and supposedly 3 supervisors and none could assist me, it was like they took pleasure in denying my request. Hopefully my refinance will go thru next week and I can put this awful company behind me. If I was an employee of this company I would be updating my resume because if they refuse to meet their clients needs I can only imagine how poorly the treat their employees.

Unreal words can not describe how horrible this company is the customer service is only the tip of the horror of this place. No one knows what is going.. to make matters worse they are down right big business crooks. After following all the steps for a loan modification.. in 24 hrs they of the last phone call we were told all is going on the right direction and then we find out our home was foreclosed.. never missed a payment.. and they deleted totally from the files...how is this company still allowed to keep doing this..unreal

I am fortunate enough to not be a customer of Seterus Inc. I do however have to have some contact with the company due to the industry that I work in. Every time I contact Seterus Inc. for basic information that other companies know off hand I always end up having to make multiple phone calls dealing with combative reps who constantly sound confused and more often than not give incorrect information. For instance my most recent encounter involved me calling on behalf of one of my clients for the sake of this review we will just say that their names are Mike and Annette after 25 minutes of not being able to locate my clients loan the customer service rep read the name back as Ben and Andrew all with incorrect info I was able to call back several more times and after getting transferred several more I was able to find the information I was looking for. This company is bad news not sure how they're still in business.

I have always had a reasonable experience with Seterus. I will admit changing my Escrow account has been a bit of a hassle but not from their side. AAA has not sent through the cancellation notice but hopefully we will get it resolved. They are working with me to the best of their ability. Seterus is not the loan holder on most mortgages they only collect the money for the loan holder so make sure they have your loan first.
