Chucks Coin and Gold Exchange in Wadsworth, OH

After shopping around for prices on an estate collection, These folks came through with "highest prices paid". Super happy with the entire experience. And the shop is FULL of cool stuff!

I checked about a dozen gold and jewelry stores before I sold my coins and scrap gold. Chuck's offered to pay me more for my silver coins and scrap gold than any other gold and silver buyer within a 40 mile radius. Since then I have sent all my friends and relatives to Chuck's to get the best offer for their scrap gold and coins too! They were all more than satisfied with Chuck's top offers. Even on costume jewelry they offered to pay more. It's a small store with big offers. Can't beat it!

I called chuck over the phone to see what he was paying for silver. Said if I had buffalo rounds in decent shape he'd pay 90 cents over spot, which was much better than any of the places near me. When I arrived he recognized me from a purchase I had made there over a year ago. When we counted up the silver rounds I had brought I was one ounce short, Chuck paid me for it anyway saying it may have been miscounted when he sold it to me over a year ago. I couldn't believe he did that for me. That was a real stand up move, and it will keep me as a customer for life!

Had a very, very bad experience with this person/shop on Ebay. They sold me something that was supposed to be an antique gold filled necklace - turned out only the clasps were gold filled - the rest was very cheap gold colored metal....not at all as described. I politely informed him of the professionally tested results, he said to return, and after some back and forth agreed in writing to reimburse for return shipping costs. Then, he ends up keeping a percentage of the sale, not reimbursing shipping and sending me numerous nasty and rude emails on Ebay. I reported the conduct to Ebay and they have given him a warning for the harassing messages and are investigating the selling practices to see if he has done this before. I've found Chuck to be unprofessional, rude and unethical in his dealings with me and recommend caution. After receiving a warning from Ebay and told not to contact me again, he started sending me rude, harassing messages on threeother sites and tried to intimidate me by noting my place of business, and leaving harassing and rude messages there, as well. Not someone I recommend working with.

Low balled me on my coins (they sold on eBay for 10x what they offered) offered me face value for most of stuff. Ripped everything out of my binder then just left it all over the table when I told them the offer was too low for me.
