Review Loanmax Title Loans

I paid off my loan and they decided not to release my title. So I went to go get from the court house and they told me it wasn't there. Called loan max and they told me it'd be a couple days for it to come thru. Well now I'm working out of town and can't make it to the court house to get my title. Very upset. I paid my payment on time. And their ridiculous interest. And they just "forgot" to release my title when it was all said and done.

Unless you have an extra thousand bucks and limitless patience, don't do it! These people do not have it together. No matter how responsible you are, they are not and in some fashion will "accidentally" screw you over. If you want to hear my horror story, please read on. I thought it was a good idea to borrow $600 for Christmas money. They didn't tell me about the interest until after the papers were printed and the loan was in motion. Nearly $400 in interest! After stupidly agreeing to the terms, the lady informed me the title could be sent to their store, which would be the best option for me as the certified mail requires a presence and a signature, and you never know when you need to be home. I paid my first payment on time. Everything was okay except I had to grabble on the phone about the title being sent to the store part. Then I paid off my loan in full ~ and I nearly lost it because the lady from integrity told me I would have to apply for a new paper title because they were all electronic. After standing in th store an being transferred on the phone several times, it was agreed the title would be mailed to the store where I could pick it up. WEEKS WENT BY. Oil Then I received a voicemail telling me there was an emergency at the title place. So, instead of picking up my title on schedule, I was asked if I still had the money order we had scanned for my final payment. Thank God I did, but no thanks to them for letting me walk out the door not knowing they needed the physical money order. We had scanned it into the computer system and no-one told me what to do with it, how was I supposed to know? The lady said she was doing me a favor by letting me bring the copied money order in, and I thought she was doing me more of a major inconvenience since I had to drive 50 minutes to their store. Yet again we talked about mailing my title to the store. I thought all was finally squared away until I week later, I accidentally missed class today and the mailman shows up unexpectedly requiring my signature! Sure, it was nice to have a little extra cash for the holidays, but when you depend on your car, putting ownership of it in jeopardy with careless and unorganized people is a terrible idea. Best of luck, y`all!
