Purchased a car and my loan was done automatically at the car dealership - by the dealership. Found out the hard way that Toledo Co op does not send out any coupon books for loan payments. Called to find out why I haven't received any payment info and the loan officer at the bank was very short/discourteous. Was informed as a parent would speak to a child that my Initial letter stated that I had to call for a coupon book - hmmm. As a consumer, am I supposed to "just know" that a payment is due and without knowing any account number, just send them a check??? Not a bank that I would ever choose to do other banking with. The person did however, waive the late fee because I called. One star for the waived fee. One star for the low interest rate.
