My husband and I have dealt with 4 house purchases/sales in the past, with 4 different companies, and this last experience has been the worst by far. The lady we worked with did not have her paperwork together, was extremely difficult to talk to, even attempted to make us sign paperwork and date it a month back in order to cover her own mistakes. A week before the contract stated we were supposed to close, we still did not have a closing date. Tried to get a date for weeks, as we obviously had to coordinate our closing cost funds, insurance info, utility info. Even up to the day before, she told us.. "it could be Friday, it could be Monday...". They couldn't even give us a ballpark number for our closing costs up until the day of closing - completely ridiculous and unacceptable. They have no clue! Stay away and don't use this company!

My grandmother and I have been working with Stone Gate for a few weeks and our mortgage advisor has been very patient and cooperative with us. He has been trying all options he can find to get us into a home with a low down payment and little closing costs. He even called me at home to let me know we could afford it! Would definitely recommend to a friend or family member.

Working with Joe McGregor was the best buying experience of the 8 houses we've purchased. He was above and beyond the service we expected. Will use them again. Very good with communication.
