Hopewell Federal Credit Union in Heath, OH

Very unhappy with this Credit Unions ignorant policies. We closed all 3 accounts because they just don't understand customers needs. We just wanted to go in and do our banking and have decent customer service but what we got was rude tellers and headaches. Go somewhere else to do your business!!

Never use the coin machine at this credit union. On several occasions i have, each time the machine took 3 to 8 dollars out of the total. Making it look like i had less to begin with. On this last occurance i had 34 dollars and some change. The machine read that i had 26 dollars and 16 cents i said something when cashing out. Our teller was very confused and asked a manager to check the machine. The manager came back and tryed explaining how machine is very accurate. Indirectly calling me stupid, saying that i must of counted wrong. The thing is i have a hand counter and count as i put my change in my jar. So i know for a fact that my change was 100% what i was claiming. I was appauled this and hope people see this review and avoid this scam.

okay, hear me out here. this is a little backwoods country bank. if this is your cup of tea by all means give 'em a shot. however, if you are a 21st century kind of guy/gal and like the convenience of making payments online, like any other normal bank, please steer clear of these people. If you are a day late on a payment - they report you immediately. if you need customer service after 5pm - rofl good luck!!! if you like to receive good old fashioned letters in the mail telling you they have reported you to the credit agencies for failing to understand their completely convoluted website - this is your bank!! i was forced into using these guys because of a payment plan we set up with a HVAC contractor. They use hopewell for their financing. they are extremely rude on the phone. please, try using a CC they issue and then log into their system and try to make a payment. YOU CANT DO IT!!!!! they do not recognize any forms of payment from another bank or their respective credit/debit cards. I am almost being forced to open a checking account with these guys just so i can make a payment on this HVAC work!! hopewell federal credit union is a joke.
