Review Pathways Financial Credit Union

I refinanced my car loan with Members First Credit Union and my interest rate dropped 1.25% from a rate I felt proud bragging about a year and a half ago when I bought the car. I can't say enough about Members First Credit Union, they are a small bank with the type of excellent service that beats any of the large banks. Thanks Members First!

Friendly and extremely members oriented! You can't go wrong with these guys!

We've been customers of Members 1st for the past 6 years. Unlike the traditional banks, Members 1st treats their customers with appreciation. We are loyal to Members 1st.

This is the first negative review I have ever written online. I'm not impressed with Pathways/Members First because: 1. Their ATM won't accept deposits, which seems ridiculous in this day and age. It also restricts one's ability to deposit checks to business hours, which are generally my work hours. It's a pain. 2. They won't allow automatic withdrawals, for example, to pay insurance premiums. This means the auto-pay discount is not available. 3. If you're out of town and need to pull money from a credit card to put into your checking account, Pathways does not allow it to be done by phone (like every other bank and credit union I've worked with). That means you have to find one of their "partner" credit unions to do the transaction. Regular banks won't handle it unless it's that bank's credit card. This happened to me while in Washington DC, and I visited 3 credit unions - none of them were in the network with Pathways. I called the credit union so they could direct me to a fourth credit union that would, finally, help me. Naturally, I had to pay them a fee for handling the transaction. Then the deposit wouldn't go through. We had to call Pathways again - it turned out a computer glitch on their end was the problem. They did waive the NSF fees incurred because of all this, but it took an entire afternoon of my time. This was a work trip, and it really caused a problem with my schedule. 4. The individuals who work there seem nice enough, but that doesn't begin to offset the annoying, hassle-creating policies. I'm probably going to switch my account over to another CU soon. Hope this helped someone.

I'm a deaf and hard of hearing individual and I can talk and hear on the phone I told the people that I'm deaf and hard of hearing after asking if they would be open for a few mins after hours bc grandview Mail doesn't get mail till the time this bank closes.. After asking they hung up on me. What did I do to deserve such disrespect.. This place is a thumbs down have no respect for deaf people either..
