Credit Adjustments, Inc. in Defiance, OH

Extremely aggressive cold calls. I was hung up on multiple times before someone would finally put my number on the "do not call" list.

If i could give negative stars I would. SCAM ALERT WOW. I can not describe how incredibly unprofessional and unethical this company operates. I have received multiple cold calls from this company and asked to be taken off of their list. Most recently (today at 12:30pm) a representative called me, would not give me her last name or extension, or why she was calling other than a "personal business matter," and continued by asking me to verify my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, address, and date of birth. You've got to be kidding me. I asked her again what she was calling for and she replied with "I'll call back another time," and hung up on me. I called the HQ in Defiance, OH.... struggled to speak with any kind of operations manager or supervisor, and when I did I was told their networks are down, he took the details of the call, and asked me to follow up tomorrow ( he was cordial, but even he would not clearly tell me what his company does.) Seeing as how I have no business with Credit Adjustments, one could understand my concern. Be vigilant, everyone.

This company is affiliated with Toledo Hospital. My husband is disabled and a leukemia survivor with a lot of medical bills. We are being treated unfairly and being sued for a bill that we aren't even sure what it is for. Shame on you!

These people are VERY shady. I have tried on many occasions to deal with these people. I did owe a balance, and they agreed to a settlement. When I asked them to fax me something stating that they agreed to that settlement, they said they cant do that. Next, when I asked how long it would take them to report to the credit bureau that this account had been paid, I was shocked at their answer. The girl on the other end said they don't do that anymore. They can send me all kinds of collection notices, but wont send me a letter stating a settlement. They can report to the bureau that I owe a bill, but they don't report that I paid it. THIS IS A VERY SHADY COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!

This company absolutely disgusts me. I talked with there main manger and settled my debt and paid in full in one day. That was back in the second week of February. I called last week to make sure they filed and sent it to the clerks and my response is I'm sorry sir I will get that taken care of for you. Mind you that the manager said it would be done by the middle of march. These people will do anything to get you to pay but once you do watch out. Definitely do not hold up there end. Attorney has been contacted.
