This review is not for Crosscountry Mortgage, but for Michael Harrell. He was my original loan processor, and I would recommend that no one use him for his services. My closing date was changed 3 times on the deadline due to the fact that he did not have all of his paperwork together. He waited until the very last minute (2 days or a day from closing) to request things from me, and did an extremely poor job of working with the client. As a result, I was not able to close on my house, because of a lack of care and responsibility. I also worked with Leah who was great the whole way through. This review is the reflection of one person not doing their job; not the company as a whole. I would never work with this person again, or with any company he is associated with. HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL!!! If i could give Zero stars I would. Walter L. was incredibly unprofessional. I live in fear knowing they have my vital documents and personal information. No safe portal to transfer information. Called at 11am on a Wednesday and Walter was still sleeping! Too many instances to mention with bad communication, etc.....part of the reason I did not buy this home is directly related to my experience with Cross Country.

CrossCountry did an amazing job on my first loan back in 2003 and will be doing my second loan too! My sister works at PNC and CrossCountry beat their rate even with PNC's .25% discount! Great people, great rates!
