Regina Check Cashing Corporation in Syracuse, NY

Terrible and rude! I waited in line for over half of my lunch break, because they only had 2 attendants working ON A FRIDAY, when the place was packed. When I finally got to the window, the girl told me they couldn't cash my check, because they needed verification, and wouldn't go through the automated phone system to speak to the accounting department and do that. I AM THE RECEPTIONIST AT MY COMPANY! The only way to reach someone while I'm out is to use the automatic system! I've cashed checks there before, and never had a problem. Apparently this time, the style of the check has changed, so they need to verify again. (I believe the color of the background is slightly different.) She was completely unhelpful, rude and showed no regard whatsoever for the fact that I waited in line for 40 minutes and wasted my lunch break on this sham of a business. She treated me like I was just another jerk waiting in line, not at all a person, and it was not her problem. It was almost as though she enjoyed telling me I was out of luck. I hope somebody treats her like that some day when she is having a difficult time. I volunteer at a center helping single mothers get on their feet, and acutally referred FOUR of my clients without bank accounts to this place recently, but was so disgusted today that I actually took the time to personally contact them and tell them NEVERMIND! Save yourself the trouble! You're better off saving money (especially if your check is over 100.00) by just going to the supermarket.
