I opened new account I could use next month when I move out of state. I was given a small selection of checks to use. After a month, I was told NO OTHER CHECKS HAD BEEN ORDERED ! When the account a month old, I asked about a bank statement. I was told, "WE DON"T ISSUE BANK STATEMENTS WHEN AN ACCOUNT IS ONLY A FEW DAYS OLD. I guess you have to wait two months to verify that the bank's computer has you on file. Today, my old bank tried to wire a deposit to the routing number on the book I had.The old bank tells me it's invalid.Try and get past the Wells Fargo robo operator ! I was told, the printed routing number was "NOT USED FOR WIRE DEPOSITS IN NEW YORK." When I asked why that information was not made available to other banks, there was no response. Three strikes and you're out !

We have only experienced exceptional professional and friendly customer service at the 288 Main Street location. On all occasions that we have required a personal banker or a representative/teller to make a transaction, the staff are genuinely friendly - unlike many of the other banking institutions in the area!

Try calling this branch! I have called for three days and no matter what time of the day I get a recording saying WE ARE EXPERIENCING HIGH CALL VOLUME - TRY YOUR CALL AGAIN AT ANOTHER TIME. Are they kidding? I was looking to move my accounts to another local bank here in town BUT no way would I ever consider using this bank. I understand under staffing a branch, Citi in Greenlawn is notorious for that - BUT at least when I call they pick up!

This branch used to be topnotch until ca. 2012 when the branch manager and personal in the branch started to change constantly. When I was greeted as a regular customer by name in the past and the personnel was efficient, helpful and friendly, now the situation became less than average. The reason I have not switched to a different bank is the fact that Wells Fargo is located in many cities across the US, which makes it convenient to deposit check etc. I would like to change, but...
