Trustco Bank in Delmar, NY

They keep declining my debit card despite having a significant balance in my checking account, rarely using it, and their customer service line is almost useless because it operates between monday-friday 9am-6pm, which is useless if I need money in an emergency on the weekend (which has happened before). I have literally had to beg strangers for money to get myself home because of this. Their online help is only a phone number directing you to the useless customer service line. This is not the first time they have shut down my debit card without notification, and I am sure it won't be the last. If they are going to pull sh!t like this, they should at least be considerate enough to have ANYBODY answering phones during the weekends just in case they made a mistake. How many times do I need to reactivate my card before they realize they should be more careful about turning it off? I don't care if need to be on hold for an hour, it is better than begging strangers for money when you are out of town.
