The employee's are rude and incompetent, twice I went in because I had lost a card and they cancelled out the wrong card and I ended up not having a debit card to my joint account when my personal was the missing card, after finding out I went back and told them they did the wrong card gave them the right account number and they some how messed it up again ihad 2 cards to my personal and none for my joint. I called to complain 2x once I was never called back and the second time hung up on (I was not yelling or cussing). Aweful customer service, aweful service in general!

Great Bank! Their policies are business friendly and the staff is very helpful. They set up my business bank account in under an hour. Compared to other banks like horrendous PNC, these guys care about their customers and are willing to work with you. I've used 3 other banks and I have to say when it comes to important issues, I trust TD the most.

Overall decent staff with the exception of one. I called the general TD customer service to find out how to get some copies of my bank statements. They told me the easiest and free way was to walk into any branch and ask them to print them for me. So I walked in to get copies of bank statements... The man I spoke with (probably in his 50's with glasses) first printed out the wrong statements. Then when I explained again what I needed, he said, "oh, that's a different system and it will take me until Friday to get those for you." It was Tuesday.... so it takes 3 days to print bank statements here. He took down my name and phone number and said he would call Friday. That Friday passed 2 weeks ago and still no call. I called the general customer service after about a week and they told me he was obviously wrong. They put in the request for my statements to be mailed to me and I received them 4 days later. However, I now had to pay $2.00 per statement b/c of this guys laziness. And still no call back...

I went to this branch to deposit an unused non-TD Bank $65 money order, something I'm sure I've done before over my 24 years with Commerce/TD Bank. The rep refused because it was a non-TD Bank money order. I called general customer service, and the rep told me that that rep was wrong, and to return and insist on depositing it. This time, the manager confirmed that he wouldn't accept it. I called customer service and asked for a supervisor to clarify TD Bank policy. She seemed open to my problem til she put me on hold for a while, and when she returned, she used similar irrational language that the branch staff used as rationale to refuse to deposit the money order. I deduced that she spoke with that branch management rather than learn of overall TD Bank policy because I went to another branch and deposited it, no problem. I told the teller of my problem with the other branch, but she acted like it was a routine deposit. Apparently, branch managers set their own policy, so I will avoid this branch for anything not routine, as they don't care whether I've been a customer for 24 years and want to deposit a $65 money order. Also, the general phone customer service supervisor gave false information, so it is unreliable. Maybe next time, insist on elevation to an executive to get correct information--if even they could be trusted. It seems common in such large institutions that few really know answers to anything not routine.
