United Teletech Financial Federal Credit Union in Tinton Falls, NJ

Great organization!

i have had an account with this credit union for almost 40 years. all of the recent changes have made this place go downhill fast. i am considering leaving and finding somewhere else to bank.

BILL PAY software is worse than the old version. It is cumbersome and unexpectedly scrolls to the wrong page. They force you to make at least 10 purchases with your debit MasterCard each month or you pay a $10. fee on your checking account. Now they have annoying Turbo Tax pop-up ads to get past to get to your account. We are looking for another place to do business.

This place has gone downhill so bad the last few years. They changed the website which you have to ALWAYS get an email with a passcode to access it with now because if you close your browser and automatically clean out cookies for security, it does not remember you. It was never that way before. I am sure they will claim some added security feature is why it is that way. You can also NEVER get through directly to any branch any more. You can only call the main number, which is as bad as calling the cable company. The help is mostly clueless about even the basic issues and you need to be transferred to someone else. Good luck actually being transferred. They always send you to someones voicemail who is not there. The fees are ridiculous for basic services which longtime customers should get for free. The website redo recently is horrible and not user friendly. I can go on. I am leaving after almost 20 years because it is not the friendly place it used to be that cared about its customers. UPDATE: Called for a basic request. Had to call back because first person was absolutely useless and clueless. Second one I talked to said someone would call back by end of day. 5 hours later, no call at all, AS EXPECTED! PERFECT EXAMPLE of how useless and utterly PATHETIC customer service is and how much this place now sucks! I cant wait to pull my investments out of there!
