Synchrony Bank in Bridgewater, NJ

Are we all, talking about the same bank? I have had multiple accounts with this institution because of the great service and super interest rates.

I have had a Q card with this company for a while in the past. This company doesn't follow any of their part when it comes to making arrangements or customer service. I have clearly expressed to the managers more than once, that this company seems like they lie a lot. Every time I call them, I feel like I am getting scammed. This company needs to make big changes, when it comes to this company I feel they can't be trusted for anything, when you are told one thing on the phone, call in to do your part, and they say they won't honor it, that is enough to turn my business elsewhere. Thank you Synchrony Bank, for showing me that companies do not value their customers in the slightest bit.

Denied a credit card and was given no reason why. Very poor customer service also I was transfered all over the place to an eventual dead end. My credit is just fine with no problems. This is just one more reason to never use a bank.

I have had a jumbo CD with Synchrony Bank since mid 2016 and have been satisfied, although not 100%. But for their interest rates, I can be a little forgiving! But the high quantity of 1-star ratings in these reviews makes me VERY suspicious that competitors are dumping "fake news" to damage the bank's business. Come on: names like Oliver "Mellen" (Mellon Bank) or "Chase"? Where is "George Wells Fargo"? I have gotten decent, polite, native-English speakers on their business line the three times I've called and reliable monthly statements. Synchrony does NOT deserve 1-star, although it could go a bit further to get 5 stars with me. (Main complaint: SB chooses your (old) contact phone number FOR you from credit rating companies rather than the (new) number YOU supply, so I have sometimes been locked out of access to my online account because it would ask to send a text to a number I had two years ago. But a call to a live service rep always solved the issue.) A decent bank with FANTASTIC interest rates!
