Absolutely terrible people. Will use any dirty trick to get money and don't care if you have dependents to care for.

I am VERY GLAD to be involved in the settlement case against them!!! We all ready had a garnishment against us, when they threw on a second one, which I didn't think they could. Then after that they froze our checking account. For 2 weeks we had $25 to live on for 2 weeks. They took all of my husband's paycheck out of there. I guess their not human, so maybe that's why they can do inhumane things to us. May they run into hardships like all of us have. Plus we were not able to get our son or our own medications that were prescribed to us during that time, they didn't care.

These blood sucking bastards have filed 5 lawsuits against me and my wife in the last 6 months. Didn't even try to work with us on a payment plan, just filed away. Truly disgusting human beings, they lost a class action lawsuits in 2011 and still didn't learn a thing. Total trash.

I told them I needed a receipt immediately for a payment I made. 5 days later, they hadn't sent it. They knew the reason I needed it and what was at stake if they didn't. They did not care and insisted they couldn't expedite it, email it, and I couldn't physically pick it up.

TL/DR: sent one collection letter I never received to collect a small debt at a hospital I already paid and they sued me. Nice business model. I received a Summons to court the day before Christmas at my home for a purportedly long-outstanding debt with the local hospital. The debt was for $105.28 incurred in July. The problem is: 1. we were paid in full at the hospital as of September and made a $900 payment in August which would have covered this debt. So this should never have been reported in the first place. That was the hospital's fault. 2. We were only sent one letter in October regarding the debt which I never received. 3. I was told since the letter wasn't returned they could only assume I received it. Of course, the letter wasn't certified it was just mailed. I don't know if my wife accidentally threw it out but I went back through all our archived mail and never found it. Are debt collectors not required to make more than one feeble attempt at collecting a debt before suing someone? Due to court and courier fees my $105.28 debt nearly reached $200. When I contested this with a manager I was told if I felt I was being treated unfairly I would need to contest them in court and they had lawyers and I didn't. I rate this company 0/100.
