Bank of the West in Wahpeton, ND

This is the worst bank I have ever had. My husband went to the bank to make a mortgage payment. Well they screwed up. They only took the principal out of our account. My husband went in again and said hey not sure if you noticed but you didn't take enough out for our mortgage payment, so they took the 290 out. Well the idiot teller, Annie, apparently didn't do it right and the 290 was taken out but went back into our account, due to her making a mistake. Well I noticed that is was credited back into our account yesterday after I paid our bills for this two weeks. I called and spoke to the manager Sandy and she was the most rude person I have ever talked to. First she blew me off and said She would get back to me to see what was going on. I said ok, but I wanted to know what was going on as we were recieiving bills from them saying our payment was late and had not been paid. Well she never got back to me, so I called back and she said on I took the 290 that you owed out of your account. This was without my authorization. I said you need to put it back we are into the next two weeks and I'm not sure if we are able to pay it due to all our other bills coming out and us not noticing the 290 was credited back into our account till yesterday after we had paid our other bills. Well by this point she was yelling at me. She told me I should have accounted for that if I saw the 290 was credited back into our account. I said well I feel like you are being very rude and would like to speak to a supervisor. She then told me that she could say the same thing about me. I said I am the customer you should not be yelling at me for this , especially because the mess up was on your part. She said she has been in customer service for 20 years. All I have to say is wow. I wonder how many other people she has yelled at and been rude to. Shame on her. If she would have handled this differently the outcome could have been different. All I wanted was her to apologize for the inconvenience and ask what can we do to fix this issue. Instead she pulled money out of our account without authorization and yelled at me. We will be switching banks and people please read this review I do not want this to happen to anyone else. god bless
