BB&T - Waynesville Main Branch in Waynesville, NC

Very poor customer service. My husband has an account set up to opt out of overdrafts. $80 was wrongly taken of his account on 5/11/2016. He went to discuss this matter at your Waynesville location on Wed. 5/11 at about 1 pm. He said that the woman he talked to was nonchalant about the matter, and was trying to put the fault on him. I went in to speak with them, after my 3 year old son and I had been waiting for nearly an hour for them to fix this, or even acknowledge that YOU, BB&T, were in the wrong. When I informed the 2 women that the money taken was grocery money for my family (I have a 3 year old son and I am 34 weeks pregnant, and we were both pretty hungry at the time), one of the women noticeably smirked, holding back a smile, without making any eye contact with me. Our family is very disappointed with your Waynesville service. (We have had great relationships with the Asheville BB&T staff though). As soon as is possible, we will be closing our account with BB&T and most likely join a local credit union. You essentially stole our money, and made our day very stressful. I do not recommend this particular location to anyone. Bank somewhere else.
