Picasso Pawn in Raleigh, NC

Polite but NO FIREARMS AT THIS TIME ! (CHECK BACK LATER)

I would like to thank picasso pawn #10 for taking what little money I have and selling me a broken tablet. This tablet was going to be for my son for Christmas, now he gets nothing I used what little money I had to get him something. The manager put the hard sell on me to get it which Im normally immune to but since it was for my son I let the guard down. Ive had it all of two days and now its on a black screen and wont do anything. I call and the basic response was,"we already have your money so why should we care". Then went on about some $9 warranty, I couldnt really afford the $90 I paid for the tablet much less another $9. So They got me in the end it wont matter because the company wont care. Im now left with on Christmas morning trying to explain to my son why he has no gifts to open. Thanks a million picasso pawn because being in the working poor class wasnt hard enough already I now have to let down my son on Christmas! *note * it's now been a year later 2016 and I have been harassed by a manager to take this posting down instead of an apology or making anything right.

My Experience at this establishment was absolutely dreadful. I went into the store on a Saturday and saw some dj equipment that caught my eye. I inquired about the item, and also expressed my concerns about weather or not the item would work to my liking. The female associate, named Tyson, assured me that it would. She also, voluntary, gave her word that if it was not to my standards that she would buy the item back from me at the price that I paid. I tried it out the following day, and true to form it was not for me. I called the store on Monday and she was not working. So I tried again the following day and was able to get her on the phone. I told her the situation and she AGAIN repeated that they would buy it back from me at the PRICE THAT I PAID. So after I got off work I made my way to the store. The associate passes me off to one of her colleagues and tells her the same information. The colleague then puts my info in the system, takes my item to the back....and returns with ONLY HALF OF WHAT I PAID FOR IT. Bare in mind I made the purchase on Saturday...they were closed on Sunday and I made the return on Tuesday. The unit had not been dropped, damaged, or in any other shape than how I purchased it. Then the associate (Tyson) Completely did a 180 and declared that she told me these things and never said it would be what I paid for it. COMPLETLY LYING TO MY FACE. So no this establishment will not be getting any more of my business nor shall I suggest anyone waste their time on a business that doesn't stand behind their product!

Nice selection of random tech/jewelry. They also sell pawned Jordans for decent prices.
