Having spent 11 years in the mortgage industry and personally purchased six homes in the last 25 years, I've never experienced a smoother loan process than now. Tammi & Nicole absolutely ROCK! Dealing with Movement Mortgage seemed great at first. Everyone was friendly and seemed easy-going. Noticed it was hard to get a call back from Michael or Michelle the further we got into the process. We provided every piece of information they requested, but the day before our closing day we found out the attorneys' office was still lacking information from Movement. Michael came up with several excuses, blaming everyone but himself and the company. Needless to say, we did NOT close on our closing day, but the next day. We had to extend stays for boarded pets and put off having our cable installed and rent a UHaul for an extra day due to this issue. Even then Movement had to resend information to the attorney's office 2 or 3 times DURING THE CLOSING because they kept sending paperwork that was not filled out correctly. Their excuse time after time was to blame the process, the end of the month, and even information my wife sent in that they had in plenty of time to work with. I would steer clear of Movement Mortgage, especially if you are put on Michael's team. I also contacted his supervisor the day that our closing was originally supposed to happen but Chris called me once, left a message that he would look into things, and never called again. Michael and Michelle put a bad taste in my mouth for this company, and I would never deal with them again.
