Steve Hobbs and his Assistant My are AWFUL! We found a house in June and I provided all of the necessary paperwork to complete the process by our closing in October. I spent over 3 hours pulling all of the paperwork together, scanning and sending it. Even after that, I was asked MULTIPLE times for the exact same information to be sent. When it came to our closing Steve had mistakenly filled out the paperwork for a 2nd home. Thank god for our closing attorney who caught it. However, it took over 3 hours and multiple phone calls by the attorney to get the proper paperwork completed. Steve was "too busy" , as he was getting and MRI, and couldn't help with the paperwork. He was rude and hung up on us as we were sitting at the closing table. This morning, he just asked for more papers to be signed that he screwed up!! DO NOT USE ALCOVA OR STEVE HOBBS, you will get screwed.

Nathan Carver has helped us many times over the years - two mortgages and a refinance, with another to come. Each time, he has walked us through the process, explained the paperwork, answered our questions in detail, and been quick to respond. He's gotten us really good rates and provided good advice to get us the results we wanted. We just finalized a home purchase and he worked late nights to speed the process which had been delayed because of Hurricane Matthew and related storm damage. We'll continue to work with Nathan because he's proven he'll do the work we need and that he truly cares about getting us a good result and making sure we understand what we've signed up for.
