BB&T - Indian Trail Branch in Indian Trail, NC

Awful customer service went in to cash a $75 check that was written on a bb&t account and they charged me $8 to cash it AND they didn't say they were charging it until after they cashed the check. If they had said there was going to be a charge I would have taken the check to the Monroe location where they have cashed similar checks without the charge or to my bank which was a little bit further. I will never ever recommend bb&t to anyone what so ever. This is highway robbery. I only gave it one star because I had to

My wife and I live 2 miles from this location. It is literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am a CS manager and I dreaded going into this location. If I need to speak with a teller or a relationship banker it always seemed to turn into a hassle and I would feel like a problem to them. It eventually got to where my wife and I would argue about "who would deal with them this time". When speaking with a relationship banker we received huffs and annoyed looks. We finally decided to move locations or switch banks completely. We found the BBT in Mint Hill and love it. The tellers and RB are amazing. We are greeted with smiles and RB David has come beside us and helped us begin to save for the future. We have been working for years to start a credit line and David in one visit was able to set one up for us. If you are like me and searching for a new place to visit Mint Hill is 15 minutes down the road and well worth the drive.

Deposited a $3500 check. They put $7k in holds on that check. I am screwed. Obviously a bank error. They are fresh out of f***s at this location. The lady that tried to help me wasn't intelligent enough to understand exactly what happened. Suggested that I deposit more money until they figure it out and I can call her back if it doesn't magically fix itself tonight. Grossly incompetent.
