Arrow Pawn Jewelry Audio Check in Garner, NC

Very rude, and poor service! There are a lot of other pawn shops with a lot better service in garner. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Went to this location a while ago and tried selling a high end watch. No one really knew what it was at the time and gave me no where near what I wanted

My wife and I have been to this dingy location several times but yesterday was the last laugh literally. We were looking for an older laptop for our son to mess around with. They had a powerbook g4 thats been sitting on there shelf for 4 years ( you can see the date it was put out on their price tag) and its a 13 yr old laptop at that. The manager proudly said he'd give it to me for the low price of $250 and he was practically giving it away. I just smiled and said well I would offer $40-$60 on it and $60 was pushing it. He then went into the whole speech about how its an apple laptop. I said its also ancient and you can pick them up on craigslist and ebay all day for those prices. I figured local and out the door that day and i would do it just dont wanna pay $20 shipping off ebay. He told me that you couldnt even get the charger for $40 and I obviously had no clue what I was talking about and then gave me a smartass thumbs up and turned his back to me. Thats when my wife and I burst out laughing at him and his stupidity. She then says should we tell him? That peaked his attention and he said "tell me what!?" I look right at him and him and say " I do know what Im talking about and know what the value of that laptop is because Ive been in the computer/IT industry for 15 years and have several certifications and a degree, We were just looking to get our son something today and help you guys free up shelf space but good luck with your arrogant smart ass attitude" we walked out laughing. enough was enough the manager walks around there with a headset on like hes the most important man in Garner and could receive a call from the president at any moment. Every time we go in there he has an attitude. So beware if you are going in there with anything high end or have any knowledge of anything electronic wise he doesn't wanna deal with you. He is used to dealing with good old boys who pawn their tools and lawn mowers and then turns around and sells them a cheap laptop at above retail. Hes trying to sell netbooks for $200 if that gives anymore of an idea how much of an idiot he is.
