All the other reviews pretty much sum this up. Go with Movement Mortgage. They actually care for their customers.

I would give 0 if possible. Their automated system sucks and tries to keep you away from a live person. That's probably because the people that answer are in another country and are absolutely clueless and USELESS. They are so incompetent it hurts.

I would give zero stars, but I can't. I have had to call several times per week for several weeks, trying to get my escrow amount fixed, because their "auditor" can't seem to do simple addition and subtraction. They want to increase my escrow payment by almost $500 per month due to an incorrect tax amount on their part. A two minute call to the County Tax office and I got the correct amount but their tax people cannot manage it. It is unacceptable, and the way they handle you is unacceptable. It should not take weeks of phone calls and emails and get no resolution. They keep says they will call back with an update, and that has not happened yet.

I wish I could give negative stars. This company is completely incompetent. They call me weekly to get an authorization to speak with the person that handles my finances. We complete the authorization, send it back, and they call back the next week asking me to do the same thing over and over....If I ran my company the way Round Point mortgage does, I would have no business....complete incompetence!

Do NOT get a loan with them, they are the worst. They are forcing me to get flood insurance and they are trying to make me get coverage for the loan opposed to the price of the structure. The tiny house is on a lake with a gorgeous 1 acre lot, so the money is in the land. I get harrassed every year with them and spend months on the phone with them straightening them out, talking to 10 people every year. I even have a letter that they approved my coverage of just the structure, but this year they're telling me they were wrong before and they forced me into covering the price of the loan. They are some of the stupidest people all in one company that I've ever talked to in my life. They don't want to deal with me, so they transfer me without telling me so I have to tell my story all over again or else they just "accidentally" hang up on me. I would NEVER EVER recommend them. My next step is FEMA or a lawyer.
