Awful. My dad helped me open an account there 35 years ago and it has never been easy to deal with this credit union. It's impossible to get anyone on the phone. They are rude. It's beyond inconvenient if you have to actually go there. When my savings account had dwindled to $100.00 they decided to take $10.00 every month until it was totally gone because I didn't make any deposits. My bad for letting them do this to me. Never again.

I have normally had good experiences with CPCU/SSCU, but unfortunately this time the experience is not so good. My card was interrupted and my transactions are being declined, but I do have funds available. The office of course is closed for Veterans Day (which I understand). The issue though that I am having is that I am not able to get my card issue resolved until Monday morning at 9am. There should be some kind of after hours support for emergencies like this. As I am sure that CPCU staff are able to access their cash. I personally do not write a lot of checks and there are some places that do not accept checks so what am I supposed to do when I am not able to use my card to get gas etc. With the fees that you charge there should be some kind of support for emergencies like this. I have called an executive, but lets see if I get a call back....

Very bad customer service, very nonchalant they take their time with everything tone of voice is rude especially the teller with long fingernails with all those designs on them. Once all my deposits clear after my law suit I will be closing my account with them

I had the worst banking experience in my life. The staff and management are rude and unprofessional. I will never return!!! Back to big banks. Follow up My original post didn't provide my horror story. But I learned 4/5 that I have been banned from ever going back to place that treated me so horrible. My card id was stolen so my card was cancelled on a Tuesday back in Feb. So on that Friday I got off and found a sister bank in Charlotte to visit. Carolina Postal has a mental detector room that you must pass though to get into the bank (I've never saw anything like this before). So I had to take my laptop out of my purse (I work from home so I rarely go in, so I use a large purse to carry my laptop- don't judge), I then take my tablet out. At this point all I have is lipstick, perfume oil, mail and my wallet in my purse. I don't even have change, I don't carry cash. I was told I could not enter the branch at all because the metal detector is going off. I literally dumped my whole purse to prove I had nothing (I'm baffled). I didn't even have mental in my under garments (I didn't show them that). Still no entry. I explained that I'm new to Charlotte, my card had been cancelled and I have a newborn and just need some cash to make it until my card comes and I need to visit this branch since I need cash for gas. So only bringing my license I go back and the mental detector box let's me in. I super frustrated and ask can i close my account. My bank is only in Georgia and i don't want to go though this again. The teller says no. Then the teller tells me my maiden name doesn't match my driver license. I explain that I know and ask if I can verify my account another way maybe by verifying a transaction. The teller says no. I ask if I can call my bank, she says yes but she isnt allowed to talk to them (which I was told that she could have verified my account using the methods I suggested today). I then suggest to show my new and old ssn card, which she agrees to. I ask should I get back in line when I return or can they get me back in. The teller says to come back and wait to the side and she will take me next. No problem I say thank you can go get my ids. So of course when I come back, I'm ignored. When I question the teller she says "ma'am there are people in line a head of you". What???? I could have stood in line. I ask to speak to a manager and of course no one knows who that is or where they are. Finally, I withdraw what I can out and leave. I call back after leaving to speak with the manager and surprise she was there the whole time and heard me ask for her. When I asked about her crew behavior she (wait for it)..... "oh I didn't witness or hear that". But keep in mind she heard the exchange. Then she politely tells me I am welcome to never come back. Cool beans. So I gave them a negative review on the social sites I use and moved on with life. So today my bank calls me and tells me I am banned and can not go back. What??? I didn't have any plans to and I actually moved the majority of my funds to another bank. My card has been cancelled at least 3 times due to fraudulent attempts. I love my bank but now that I'm in charlotte I need to find another solution. Come to find out they violated banking policies by lying, they violated the sister bank policy they have with my bank, and disclosing inaccurate info regarding how to manage my transaction. Charlotte is the banking capital, so I actually work with a lot of senior level managements teams and I shared the call I got today. Since Carolina Postal has taken the liberty to ban me I will file my complaint with the proper agencies. I would have never guess I could do more about poor treatment until they banned me.
