Telco Community Credit Union in Candler, NC

I have had an account for years with Telco, its great as long as you dont need customer service. I also use paypal for my business and did a bank transfer to Telco. For some reason it never made it to my bank account. After 4 days it was returned. I was traveling across the country, and the funds were needed, the lack of the deposit to my account caused $225 worth of fees. I called both Telco and paypal, Paypal shows the attempted transfer and Telco shows nothing whatsoever. Even though I offered to send in screen shots of my account transactions from paypal, and paypal offered to do a third party phone call, Telco refuses to take any responsibility, to look at or speak to paypal. I have called the general manager three times and left messages. This isnt the first time, ive had issues having my account needs addressed properly. I also had some issues with simular charges and getting management to acknowledge bank error. After having a male manager try to bully, and "mansplain" to me why it was my responibility to take on the reprocussions of a bank error, i had to go to the regional manager who was able to verify a bank error in their accounting department. It was pulling teeth to get this bank to admit its error.

I joined at Telco in Candler, NC just a couple months ago when I needed a few thousand for a car loan; and I could not be more pleased. The employee that assisted me was named Amber. She aided in getting me a car loan and a debit card. Amber made the process so smooth and easy. I am thankful to have found a bank that is professional and friendly(a genuine down to earth friendly) . I have been with another large bank for 20 years but will soon be switching all of my accounts to Telco. I have referred friends and family, and will continue to do so! So, a great big thank you to Amber and all the team there at Telco in Candler NC.
