After opening a checking account with Woodforest in D'Iberville, MS, my wife tried to deposit one of my paychecks. She was told in order to do so they would hold my funds for 7 days to verify my employer's account was in fact active. I understand that this process is needed being that the company I work for is a new business and nobody has deposited a check into Woodforest. Well in today’s economic times, I don't have the money to use while Woodforest holds an entire paycheck. Since I am the store manager for my employers, I printed out a check in my name and the branch manager refused to use it to verify my company's account. The manager was extremely rude and stood her ground that since it is not a "normal" paycheck, then there is nothing she could do. I am extremely IRATE and want an explanation immediately!!!

I absolutely hate this bank. Love the employees if u can get them all on the same page. I person tells u 1 thing and the other people tell u something different. I'm soooooooooo over this bank will b switching banks.
