Dalton-LaRue Appraisal in Washington, MO

We had a horrible experience. The lady came talked about how long she had been doing appraisals and acted like our property was worth nothing. I was in the middle of working on my barn/shop putting a new loft in and i had straps on the inside in order to aid the install of the new loft. She laughed said the barn was so old and didn't act like it was worth anything. She actually stated in the appraisal that the barn would fall down if it wasn't strapped. I explained that I was in the middle of building a new loft. don't use these unprofessional people. She also said that our ground was worth less than half what I can sell it for. She also got several facts completely incorrect and when brought to her attention she stated she was sorry but it didn't matter anyway. However the items were clearly worth a difference in our final number. The appraisal was so off the mark even our loan officer from our bank contested it. These people give appraisers a bad reputation.
