Shawn and Janice are the best team to work with. They have helped us with our mortgage multiple times. Each time it gets easier and easier to do. We never felt put to the side or ignored! It feels like we are working with our own personal mortgage adviser. They are a very easy group to work with and make the process fun. Yes, we actually had a great time with our refinance!! We would have a hard time validating the decision to go with anyone else. The rates keep dropping so this is our second refinance with Shawn. Our first loan was probably a nightmare for Shawn due to shady practices by our builder. At no time did we feel that our situation was too much for Shawn and the team to deal with. They handled everything wonderfully so we didn't have to deal with the mess that the builders had put us in. The only thing that Shawn and his team lacked was helping us move boxes...but we won't fault them for that! We are VERY satisfied customers!

I would recommend Shawn Tihen and his team to anyone looking for a home loan. He offers such a personal experience and is so knowledgeable. I never felt that I was just a customer. He made a very personal and valued experience. We will be using Shawn again if we need to refinance or decide to ever buy a new home.

Earlier this year, I began looking into refinance options. After speaking with several companies, I became frustrated because each company was trying to sell me on different options and none seemed to fit my goals. I was referred to Shawn by a friend and as soon as we spoke, Shawn was able to pinpoint my needs and begin laying out options. Shawn and his team walked me through the underwriting process and got me closed quickly. I literally put less than 2 hours of my own time into the process and Shawn and his team did the rest. Shawn found creative ways to maximize my monthly savings and even delayed beginning the initial underwriting process for a few weeks because he felt the market was about to shift. Got pre-approved in February through this lender. Sent an email inquiry to Shawn. Didn't hear back. Waited a week, and then called on Thursday. Was told he was at a lunch meeting so I left a voicemail. All Friday and no response. I take it I'm not a valued customer. There's a lot of companies around here to work with so I'm going elsewhere. I'd look elsewhere.
